Dr. Nicholas M. Muteti has served as Senior Pastor of Forestville Baptist Church, Wake Forest since 2002, after previously serving in different positions from Youth Pastor to Associate Pastor. Dr. Nicholas holds degrees in Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Bachelor of Theology (Cum laude) from American Baptist College, Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages (Greek and Hebrew) from

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Master of Business Administration with Management from University of Phoenix, and Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary. He has pastored both in Kenya, where he had a radio preaching ministry, and here in the United States. A native of Kenya, East Africa, Pastor Nicholas is married to his wife, Joyce, and God has blessed them with five wonderful, beautiful children, (Nancy, Debra, Jimmy, Melissa and Jamie). 

Dr. Nicholas is a gifted and faithful pastor and professor of God’s truthful Word. His messages combine sound Biblical expository preaching and practical application. His stand on the authority of Scripture speaks volumes, and he never questions God’s Word, believing that when the Scripture speaks, God speaks!

Committed to missions, evangelism, teaching God’s Word, ministry, and diversity in the local church, Pastor Nicholas has led Forestville Baptist to stand on the authority of Scripture and to support the Southern Baptist Convention and North Carolina Baptist State Convention through the Cooperative Program. He and Forestville Baptist Church are partners in missions with some missionaries and support them financially to advance God’s Kingdom here in the United States and around the world.

He also has led Forestville Baptist Church to do international mission work. Beloved for his love for God’s ministry, he mentors young ministers and missionaries in preparation for ministry. Dr. Nicholas is the Professor of New Testament Survey and other Bible courses at Carolina College Biblical Studies in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is a published author of the book Segregation in Churches: Providing God’s Answer to Solve the Dilemma, Heaven: The Secure Eternal Home, and Understanding Christianity In the New Political Era.
